The Captain
This is my first baby. The first book I wrote that was completely original. Naturally, that means I'm the hardest on it. A full trilogy, completely written, but I'm constantly rewriting it. I love the story, I love the arc the characters go through, but even thinking about it makes me cringe a little. She needs more work, but I hope you all will one day love her as much as I do. This book has woman warriors, a murder mystery, forbidden romance, and all set in a kingdom by the sea.
My Story
I owe this book so much. I wrote it as a sort of murder mystery at first. Completely finished it, let someone read it, then read it again myself and thought, 'but why aren't there any dragons?' And thus started my swan dive into fantasy. The characters stayed the same, there's still a murder, an investigation, but with some added fantastical elements that made me love it all the more. The relationship between the FMC and her best friend is one of my favorite relationships I've ever written, to this day, and I still get teary-eyed when I think of how they develop throughout the series.

This book was my first and as such, is littered with overdone tropes, long descriptions, and dramatic platitudes that desperately need editing. So far, I haven't felt capable of telling the story I want and doing it justice. Hopefully, that day will come soon. You all will definitely be seeing this trilogy someday.
